What are your qualifications to do this type of work?

We are fully qualified graphic designers with BA hons degrees, in graphic design and fine art. We have over twenty years experience in this field. Plus, we are fully registered in France to offer our graphical services (Full receipts/invoices given for all work).

I see you’re based in Normandy, but I live elsewhere, is this a problem?

No, we have clients based all over France and beyond. If you look at our client base you can see clients from Brittany, Pays de la Loire, Dordogne, Limousin and Southern France. We also have clients in the Channel Isles, Spain, Canary Islands, and the UK.

Are your sites template based?

The problems with template based sites arise when you buy a template design but do not have sole use of the template. This means that the seller of the template can sell the same template again and again, with the result of a lot of websites looking very similar.

The difference with our designs is, we design the template for your site and it is used only on your site, each site is individually designed and tailor made to the customers requirements.

Can I ftp my files with your hosting ?

No, but it is not necessary when you edit your content managed site.

What type of sites do you design?

We design websites for many types of businesses have a look at our gallery and portfolio pages to see the range. We design content managed sites and static sites which you can add dynamic pages to suit.

We also create e-commerce sites for clients wishing to sell their products, we have created Estate agents websites all of which are editable

What can I edit on my content managed web site?

You can edit the content, including text, photos, links etc. The structure of the site and the usually invisible elements are not editable i.e. the header, footer, navigation bars and the css file.

Can you design my web site, and give it to me on a C.D and can you help me ftp it myself, to my own hosting service?

Yes, we can! For all static sites. If you wish a site to run on windows from a C.D. perhaps for presentation purposes for example, please contact us.

Where physically are your servers?

We offer this service as an added courtesy to our clients, therefore we try and buy this service from hosting companies either from the UK or the east coast of America to enable very quick ping rates for our customers.

I have designed my own site and have bought my domain, can you host it on your servers?

No, mainly due to security reasons.

How can I get my site seen on Google?

The sure-fire way of getting your website seen by your clients when they search on Google is to use Google Adwords. With Adwords you only pay for the advertisement when someone clicks on it and goes to your site. Click on the following link for more details.

Do you offer search engine optimisation?

Yes, we offer an affordable solution for your business whether large or small, prices start from 1000 euros.

Who owns the domain name?

You are the owner of your domain name for as long as you decide to pay the annual registration fee. If you choose not to renew the name is made available to anyone to register. If you wish we can register a domain name on your behalf.

What security is there on the server to protect the hosted websites?

The host servers use a fully switched network. Traffic destined for a website hosted on a server is sent only through switching equipment necessary to deliver the information to that server. This minimises the risk of someone sniffing or capturing traffic being sent across the network. Also, we limit the type of file and script that we allow. See terms and conditions page. If you wish, you can always choose to provide your own hosting server.

Do you provide backups of my site?

We keep on file a back up of the original design of your site. We advise that you make back ups of your site if you alter the content.
